I am proud of you for going 1st of all and speaking openly with the Dr. is a huge step for you. I hope in this case you only think of what is best for you and not worry about the holidays coming up and family plans. Your family may miss you but in the long run….you will be so much better off, dont you think?? Good luck.

I think you should go now. But either way, it’s 100% your choice and either decision is a good one. I hope it works the first time around. I bet he was saying you seem happy because maybe he can see that you deserve to be happy and I just wouldn’t look too much into it. Dr.s are often stupid any way. Book smarts=no comon sense. You really deserve to be freeded from this hell. Best of luck. Keep us updated.

Watch out for questions like that pay attention to everything. You are NOTlooking into it too much and get a female doctor. Dont even talk to the males and if you have to be with a male doctor watch him.

I had the same issue with a doctor in the past saying that he didn’t think I was depressed or suicidal (even though my psychiatrist had sent me there because I said I didn’t feel safe). He thought I was too happy and smiley, but I was only laughing because I was nervous and also had rapid cycling bipolar disorder.

I think when there is a choice (which there almost always is) it’s easy to keep putting it off. The fact that you got accepted in there shows something right? I say go for it, kick bulimia’s ass sooner rather than later
But of course the decision is yours, and i wish you all the best whichever one you choose. Much love xoxo Michelle

Hey, good to hear that you are accepted to treatment! Weather January or now its great, hopefully now tho. lol. I hope for you that this is exactly what you need, I really hope you find the support and encouragement you need to move away from bulimia. Im doing this all by myself and its really hard, so I hope that this makes it easier for you and you dont have to go through the hardships on your own. Good luck!
